Lines of Flight

How Our Stories Shape Our Lives with Julie Salverson Everyone has a story to tell. When you tell it in a collaborative kind of way, you can learn about your own situation, personally and socially. But in a group, it’s not only the telling of stories that happens – it’s having a listener, and being a witness.” – Julie Salverson jsalverson.wordpress.com Julie – professor, author, librettist and dramatist – has worked with countless communities helping them to tell their stories. Lines of Flight is an account of how she discovered a critical link between Canada’s arctic and the atomic bombs that fell on Japan in WWII. Julie will be with us to read from her book as well as to encourage us in knowing how to share our own stories. It is a time to learn and to bear witness to each other’s heritage stories as we grow in faith together.
