Cherie Payne is the new Communications Consultant at Dunbar Ryerson United. Cherie comes to us with a diploma in Ministry, a degree in the history of social movements from McGill University and a law degree from Osgoode Hall. Over the last 19 years Cherie has worked in advocacy communications and political outreach as a staffer in Ottawa, as an elected member of the Vancouver School Board, and as a consultant with businesses and non-profits across Canada and around the world. Cherie is an active member of her home church and excited about the ambitious journey Dunbar Ryerson has started with our merger, property development, and launch of a new arts & culture community space.
Congregation members will be hearing more from Cherie as she and the Naming Committee begin consultations to consider a new name for the church!
