The celebration last Sunday was spectacular, as were the wonderful gifts. Thank you is such an inadequate word for all you have given to me, all you have been to me in my time with you as a Community Life Minister. Nevertheless, I do thank you most deeply for your welcome, for your acceptance, for your love and care. I am excited for the what comes next for this new congregation as you continue the great adventure. I will surely miss you and certainly, Bosun will miss you. And I offer you this blessing by the poet/priest John O’Donohoe
May the nourishment of the earth be yours,
May the clarity of light be yours,
May the fluency of the ocean be yours,
May the protection of the ancestors be yours.
And may a slow
Wind work these words
Of love around you,
An invisible cloak
To mind your life.
(and Bosun, too!)
