The Nursery – Sunday Morning
Infants and toddlers will be welcomed in the nursery, which is staffed by a capable, creative and loving team of caregivers. Parents are welcome to stay with their children until everyone is comfortable, but most children are quickly ready to share in playtime with Natasha and Carmen. Nursery time consists of free play, snack time, music exploration, and simple programs that might include a visit to the church garden for example. Children learn at an early age that church is a loving community where they are welcomed, valued and loved unconditionally. In the nursery, the values, lessons and languages of our faith are often simply lived out and taught in the ways we care for each other and spend time together. During the monthly communion service, an individual will be assigned to make their way to the nursery with bread and cup to share the communion with our youngest participants and their caregivers.
